A Message from Mr. Escobedo
Dear Eckstein Bands, Jazz Bands and Vocal Jazz Families,
It has been a wonderful, musical year. I really enjoyed the great music that all the bands, Jazz bands and vocal jazz produced this year. It has been a pleasure working with the students.
There are way too many kudos to give out. All of the groups took top honors at all of the festivals. Nearly 40 awards were given to the bands, vocal jazz and jazz bands and students.
I look forward to next year. I would like to thank Kari Monsen and Tracy Romoser for all of their great work and encouragement. Special thanks to all of the parent volunteers. Without all of you, the music department at Eckstein would not be what it is today.
I am lucky to teach your children in this wonderful neighborhood.

First Band Parent Meeting of the Year (2009-2010)

Please join our Friends of the Band group at 7:30 p.m. on first Mondays of most months in the band room. At these meetings, you’ll hear the latest exciting band news from Mr. E. You’ll also have opportunities to volunteer or get involved in our program, supporting over 500 kids at Eckstein.
So join us. Ask questions. Rub elbows with fellow parents. Stay connected. And enjoy the music our kids are learning to play. It’s going to be a very musical year!
