Language Arts Program Benefits From Your Annual Campaign Donation

If your child is enrolled at Eckstein, he or she is taking a Language Arts class and benefiting from Eckstein Annual Campaign donations. Annual Campaign funds for the language arts department are directed in large part towards improving each student’s reading and writing skills. Writing skills are important in all subjects, including math, where students are increasingly asked to explain their answers in narrative.

This year $11,000 of your Annual Campaign donations have funded the purchase of classroom books to support the Readers and Writers curriculum that the LA department uses. In past years, Annual Campaign donations have funded composition books and other supplies, items for special projects, theme readers, and books that support the L.A. curriculum.
