Guiding Good Choices parenting workshops at Eckstein: January 8, 15, 22, 29, & February 5, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (Thursday evenings). Guiding Good Choices (GGC) is a research-based prevention program that teaches parents/guardians of preteens and younger adolescents the skills they need to improve family communications and family bonding. GGC consists of five, 2-hour workshops for parents. Children are invited to attend the third workshop. For more information, including other 2009 GGC offerings, visit: www.PreventionWorksInSeattle.org. To register, contact Inga Manskopf at inmanskopf@seattleschools.org or 396-0919. Underage drinking is a problem in our community – Guiding Good Choices is one way that parents can learn how to prevent it!
