Game Day Picks!
From September through December 2009, Eckstein Librarian’s will be posting a game day pick – a book to read and write a 6 word review of. For each book you read, write a 6 word book review and enter to win a $50.00 gift certificate from the UBookstore.

Contest Rules
- For any or all of the game day reads, write a 6 word book review.
- Submit your review to a librarian.
- Only one entry per book.
- For each review you write, your name will be entered in the drawing to win the $50.00 gift certificate.
- The prize drawing will be held the week of December 14th.
- ALL ENTIRES ARE DUE BY 2:40pm on FRIDAY DECEMBER 11th.
Seattle Public Library is sponsoring a Poetry contest for the month of April. Go ahead, review the rules, look for awards and print out an entry form!

Contest Rules:
- Entrants must be SPL cardholders
- Entries must be received by Thurs. 4/30/09
- Ntires must be on or accompanied by the attached entry form.
- Entries must be typed, word-processed, or neatly printed in block style.
- Entries must fit on one page
- Entries must be original and written within the last year.
- Only one poem may be entered per person
- Poems may be written in any style.
- Entries will not be returned.
- Entries must be delivered to: Northeast Branch SPL | 6801 35th Avenue NE | Seattle, WA 98115
- Contest results will be announced at the awards ceremony and poetry reading @ the NE Brach – Tues 5/19/09, 6pm
