Begin Dance Party

Today, students began work on the Dance Party project.  Students will have about a week to create an interactive dance party in Scratch.  Today’s class started with a short explanation of the assignment and a demonstration of where students can find some example dance parties.

Today (2nd & 3rd) and tomorrow (4th) students completed lesson 3.3 from pages 31-33 in the EiS book.  Groups recorded and graphed their data on this worksheet and then answered the questions at the bottom of the worksheet.

MSP Tips for Success

Today students were given a list of tips that will help them to succeed on the Science MSP.  After reviewing this list, students worked with their groups to answers a series of sample MSP questions.  We spent the last 10 minutes of the period reviewing the questions that students had answered in their groups.
