Intro to Rocks and Minerals Unit

Today, students read section 13-1 in the Exploring Earth Science textbook.  They recorded definitions to keywords on this worksheet.  After completing the reading and definitions, students recorded notes on the same worksheet from a short PowerPoint presentation on the properties of minerals and how one can differentiate minerals.

Video Game Update #2

With the semester being extended until Tuesday, January 31st, the due date for the video game assignment has been extended to Monday the 30th. Video games should be complete when students come to class on Monday.  We’ll be playing students’ video games all period on Monday.
